Eligible undergraduate students who wish to withdraw their support from The Ontario Public Interest Research Group-Ottawa (OPIRG) and its mandate will be able to obtain a refund for their $4.05 contribution during the period specified below.
OPIRG is a bilingual, non-profit, student-funded, student-based and student-directed organization. OPIRG is dedicated to the areas of social justice and the environment and is part of a country-wide network.
If you are registered for the winter semester, you are eligible to receive a refund of $4.05. OPIRG’s refund period will run from Monday, March 18th to Friday, March 29th, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the OPIRG office. We are located in room 215D of the University Centre. Eligible undergraduate student wishing to obtain a refund must do so in person and must present her/his valid student card as well as their registration and proof of payment form for this semester. Note: Full-time graduate students, being OPIRG members, can also obtain a refund. However, their student levy, and thus their refund, is only $2.50.
