Provincial Network
Strengthening Public Interest Research Across Ontario
The OPIRG Provincial Network plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration, providing guidance, and supporting Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs) across the province. Ontario PIRG is a registered charitable organization that serves as a decentralized body, connecting PIRGs in different communities while ensuring that each group maintains autonomy in its day-to-day operations.
By working together, PIRGs across Ontario amplify their impact, share resources, and build a stronger movement for environmental and social justice. The Provincial Network enhances communication between chapters, facilitates skill-building opportunities, and strengthens relationships between advocacy groups working toward positive change.
