RECLAIMING AND CULTIVATING FOOD SYSTEMS: REFLECTING ON FOOD POVERTY
The Ontario Public Interest Research Group is hosting an in-person, on-campus food systems summit! Explore the intricate intersectionality of colonialism and food poverty affecting student. The Food Poverty Summit engages students and community in meaningful discussions about the causes and long-term effects of food poverty.
It provides a space for sharing, self-reflection, experiential learning, and exploring food literacy, student activism, and food kinship. The summit also aims to strengthen communal bonds, build supportive networks, and promote inclusivity in academic settings.
